Game Boy games really don't get enough praise considering how long and dominant it was for the entire 90s and your channel was fantastic at covering them. Would love to see a continuation of the series.

Just beat this game for the first time and that dust man stage was insane, think it took me 3 hours, but by the time I beat it I knew it like the back of my hand. Also those last Wiley stages with no checkpoints took me forever but I must say it was satisfying to finally beat the game! (Also a big souls fan)

I love this game but the facial recognition section always ends my run. It's the most tedious bullshit and not fair that you die if you fail.

Good to see you back Matt, sadly many people seem to forget this really should be just a hobby and not a bloody job. Hopefully you'll start to enjoy it again with less pressure and knowing you marking the vids because you want to and not because you "need" to. Look forward to the vids when they appear.

I'm glad you're okey, and don't worry about making videos too much, do them when you want, if you want to stop for wathever reason don't worry. Still good luck making them. Burnout and scope-creep are terrible things to suffer through, and I know that it can be hard to get back on the wheel, so to speak. As others have stated, take the time you need and don't feel pressured to make videos (though I'd still like to see a new one). Quite a few of the Game Boy games I have I've gotten due to you. And good luck on your podcast, not hugely knowledgeable on manga myself, though I've somehow ended up with a library of anime.

Nice video! As you said, the controls can be very clunky. The last stages are also extremely hard - I couldn't finish it without savestates to be honest, whereas I can beat Asterix in hard mode on real hardware (one of my favorites GB titles btw) The shoot'em up section is also very tough. There are just too many projectiles. For me, it's the Touhou of the Game Boy... except you have a bigger hitbox 😅

Hi! I wonder what terrains are the stages supposed to be? I know the top right one is ice and the bottom right is underwater, but what are the upper left and bottom left ones? Thank you in advance! 😊

I picked this game up a week ago for $5. It's pretty hard but fun.

I wish this was an adventure game about Yoshi running a bakery instead.

I am kinda amazed at how similar the game looks to Moonwalker.
